This is the first compilation album that Rockin' Stan Records ever put out. It was released in the fall of 2005. We brought all the bands together and recorded all the tracks in one day at Steve Marchetti's house essentially live. The recording was engineered, mixed and mastered by Bill Bartel. Doesn't get more punk than that.

The album was a labor of love that the label founders, Donnie McDermott and Tony Davies, spent hours printing labels and burning discs to complete.

The name "Rat City Invasion" was because all the bands on the compilation hailed from White Center, Washington, just south of Seattle, which is also known as Rat City.

Some of the songs on this album have been re-recorded on later albums but others can't be found anywhere else.
